Background

Nick Steers is a professional skier based in Quebec, Canada who has skied all over the world both as an international freeride competitor and as a brand ambassador and content creator. You can learn more about Nick’s career on the SKIING page. Over the course of his career, Nick worked as an ambassador with 2 major clothing brands, most notably Peak Performance for an impressive 13 year run between 2014 to 2026. Nick was a Peak Performance Canada and later a Peak Performance North America athlete who continued to represent the brand through 3 management restructures as well as the entire Covid-19 Pandemic. During his time with Peak Performance Nick worked directly with the National Marketing Manager(s) on normal seasonal exposure efforts, events and special initiatives, as well as multiple trips to headquarters to meet with sales and store managers.

Moving forward into the 2026/ 27 season, Nick is currently a free agent when it comes to clothing and apparel. He represents a significant new opportunity for a clothing brand to interact with his niche and growing platforms all season long and be exposed in every piece of content he makes. In 2026, singular brand deals are abounds for athletes and creators however a season long partner that is taken on by Nick and an ambassadorship includes basic and continuous season-long benefits that other “one-off” brands will not get, such as:

Nick’s channels are on the rise. Over the course of the 2025 season, his instagram grew 40% over the course of the single season and his TikTok and YouTube more than doubled in size. Nick is also directly connected to the competitive freeride market as well as the Ikon Pass community. Nick is very well know at Mont-Tremblant, Quebec’s largest ski destination and has had numerous pieces of viral content there and also offers guests of the mountain the opportunity for meet-up ski days of which 8 groups linked up with Nick in 2025 alone. WHAT NICK IS LOOKING FOR FROM A BRAND

Nick is looking for a brand that is producing quality outerwear and clothing products and that has a partial focus on the freeride/ freeski market and that ships to Canada or sells directly in Canada. Compensation for the above mentioned ambassador work is negotiable and flexible but should include as a minimum:

  • Seasonal product flow

  • Advice, support and counsel on the products and how to rep them well

  • Cross marketing where appropriate

  • Sense of value and potential inclusion in ideas or opportunities when appropriate
